A church caught fire in Morrow County Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were on the scene on County Road 217, located near state Route 61 just off I-71.
At least five fire departments were called to battle the fire at the church.
Phone records list the property as the Gethsemane Baptist Church. It's believed the fire started in the basement.
Bryan Miller stood and watched. Miller was married in the church when he was just 19 years old.
Church members say they're concerned because this is the second church fire in Morrow County in less than two weeks.
On Thanksgiving Day, fire destroyed The Sacred Hearts Church in Cardington. Firefighters say the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Church members say they're praying it's just a sad coincidence.
"We hope that it's an old church with old wiring and something happened and it went, but with both churches to go in such a short span, we wonder what's going on?” said Miller.
The church is a total loss and members say they're trying to tell themselves it's only a building.
“But at the same time, that's where I was married. That's where I saw my kids baptized and it’s tough,” added Miller.
No injuries were reported.
