(AP) Florida State and Ohio State now find themselves as the top teams in the latest BCS standings following Alabama's loss at Auburn on Saturday.

But there's not much distance between the Buckeyes, Auburn and Missouri with just one regular-season game remaining for the three teams.

The Seminoles' .995 BCS average makes them a lock for a BCS title game appearance if they beat Duke in the ACC championship game.

Ohio State owns a .950 average, Auburn is at .923, Alabama is fourth at .854 and Missouri is next at .843.

In Associated Press college football poll, Florida State is the new Number 1 team ending Alabama's season-long reign.

The 12-0 Seminoles got 58 of the 60 first-place votes following their 37-7 romp over Florida. They are ranked No. 1 for the first time since Oct. 1, 2000.  Unbeaten Ohio State is the new No. 2, while Auburn moved up to No. 3 with two first-place votes.  Alabama and Missouri round out the top five.

The Buckeyes face Michigan State in the Big Ten title game next weekend, and Auburn meets Missouri for the SEC championship.
