OSHP Investigating A Fatal Crash In Delaware County

UPDATED: Saturday November 30, 2013 3:22 AM

The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash that happened Friday night.

OSHP says the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. On US-36/SR-37, east of Lackey Old State Road.

Troopers said Holly Boring, 26, of Delaware, was driving a black 2002 Toyota Avalon westbound on US-36 when she drove off the left side of the roadway striking a guardrail. The vehicle flipped and Boring was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said Boring was not wearing a seatbelt and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.

OSHP closed the eastbound lanes of SR-37 while they cleaned up the accident. The road was reopened around 1:00 a.m. Saturday.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
