Ohio State's Hyde, Shazier Named Big Ten Players Of The Week

Buckeyes on both sides of the football were honored by the Big Ten with conference awards this week.

Running back Carlos Hyde was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. It's the third time he has won the award.

Hyde rushed for a career-high 246 yards and scored five touchdowns against the Fighting Illini.

Linebacker Ryan Shazier was named the conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Shazier had a career-high 16 tackles that included 1.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss.

This is the fourth time that Shazier has been named a Big Ten Player of the Week.
