South Columbus Garage Fire

UPDATED: Thursday November 14, 2013 6:15 AM

Firefighters put out flames at a south Columbus building early Thursday morning.

This happened on east Beck Street and Parson Avenue around 2:45 a.m.

Investigators say a group of homeless people were gathered around a barrel inside the garage.

The fire got out of control and smoke poured from the building.

No one was hurt.

This is the second time in two days that firefighters have put out fires started by homeless people trying to stay warm.

On Wednesday firefighters put out a similar fire on East Livingston Avenue.
