With the forecast calling for snow and below freezing temperatures, the Ohio Department of Transportation has a plan to clear interstates, state and US routes across the area.
According to ODOT, a few trucks will be on duty beginning at 7 p.m. to focus on bridge decks that freeze first.
A total of 40 ODOT snow plows will be working between 7 and 8 p.m. in Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway and Union Counties, says ODOT.
These plows will be on duty throughout the night and into Tuesday morning.
ODOT says crew sizes will be adjusted depending on the amount of snow that falls.
The city of Columbus plans to have between 25-35 trucks on the road.
