The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a disabled semi closed I-71 south Tuesday morning.
One lane of I-71 south was closed just north of the 36/37 exit in Delaware County.
Troopers said the tractor trailer went into the median and got stuck. OSHP said the tow truck that arrived to pull the semi out had a mechanical failure on the highway.
Troopers said to get around the accident, exit at state route 61, get off and go through Sunbury, and then get back onto US-36.
No word yet on when the road would reopen.
