Almost 3,300 people in Lancaster woke up without power early Wednesday morning.
An American Electric Power spokesperson said a mechanical problem at a sub-station caused the outage around 2:55 a.m.
A number of traffic lights around the city and along U.S. 33 were out.
AEP said power was completely restored around 4:40 a.m.
