Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspect Caught On Camera

Columbus Police were using surveillance video to try and identify an armed robbery suspect.

Police said the robbery happened on October 15th at the Sunoco Gas Station in the 4800 block of Sinclair Road.

Officers said a man walked into the station around 11:30 p.m. and purchased a pack of cigarettes. The man then pulled out a small, black semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from the register.
Police said the clerk complied and the suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers said the suspect is a male, approximately 30 years old, weight 160 lbs and is about 5'10" lbs.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery.
