An area of low pressure working across the region will bring scattered showers to central Ohio today. The latest models show the rain moving into some of our western counties by daybreak and spreading into the Columbus metro area by mid to late morning. Showers will stick around through late afternoon followed by clearing skies this evening. Rainfall totals will generally be less than a quarter inch. Highs will only top out in the low 50s.
Sunday will start off chilly with morning lows in the mid to upper 30s. The afternoon will feature partly cloudy skies and highs near 60. We’ll see seasonable weather on Monday with highs in the low to mid 60s before another cold front heads our way late in the day. Showers will be possible Monday night into Tuesday morning followed by cooler temperatures. Look for highs on Tuesday in the mid 50s with highs possibly only staying in the 40s Wednesday through Friday.
