Looking at stars in Columbus is getting easier.
Ohio State University is unveiling its newly renovated planetarium
The improvement allows stargazers to see much more than before with a state-of-the-art digital projector and surround-sound system.
“With the old system, we could only give one show, which is the night sky in Columbus,” said planetarium director Catherine Grier. “But now, we can show anything we want in the universe. The show today, we travel to different moons of other planets, we travel outside of our solar system outside the Milky Way.”
There are regularly scheduled programs open to the public beginning on Nov. 1.
The shows are free, but reservations are strongly recommended. Click here for more information.
