A strong cold front will cross central Ohio tonight bringing with it more rain and thunderstorms. As the front crosses, heavy rain will be possible along with gusty winds. There is also slight risk for a strong to severe storm, mainly early this evening, with the greatest threat south of Columbus. Damaging winds would be the primary threat. It will turn much cooler overnight with blustery winds out of the west.
Clouds and showers will linger into Monday, mainly in the morning. Temperatures will be much cooler with highs only around 60 degrees. Blustery winds will make it feel cooler. Temperatures will fall back into the lower to middle 40’s Monday night. Calmer, dry weather will return Tuesday through Friday with cool but comfortable fall-like temperatures.

Inconvenient Weather: Showers and storms will be likely tonight with locally heavy rain possible in spots. Also, a few storms could be strong or severe early tonight, mainly south of Columbus, with damaging winds the primary threat. Blustery conditions will develop overnight as a strong cold front passes. Much cooler air will filter into the state overnight into Monday.
Planning your Day: Clouds and occasional showers will linger into Monday with much cooler air filtering into central Ohio. High temperatures will only top out near 60 degrees with breezy conditions. Temperatures will drop back into the 40’s Monday night as skies clear.
