Your Doppler 10 Forecast
This Morning: Warm and muggy with scattered showers and storms possible.
This Afternoon: Scattered showers and storms with heavy rain possible late in the day. Highs around 80
Tonight: Showers likely. Rain could be heavy at times. Low 53
Monday: Lingering showers, mainly in the morning. Noticeably cooler. High 62
We’ll see another day featuring scattered showers and storms as a cold front heads our way. Expect another round of warm and muggy conditions with highs around 80. Strong to severe storms will be possible in the afternoon. The biggest threat will be for damaging winds although we can’t completely rule out an isolated tornado. Heavy rain is likely tonight ahead of the cold front. Due to how slowly the front is moving, we could pick up rainfall amounts between 1-2 inches this evening into Monday morning. Much cooler air will return to central Ohio behind the front Monday. We’ll see the chance for lingering showers to start the work week along with highs in the low 60s. Dry weather will return Tuesday. Look for highs in the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday and into the 70s Thursday and Friday with some sunshine.
Alerts: FLASH FLOOD WATCH for areas west and northwest of Columbus. SLIGHT RISK for severe storms this afternoon.
Inconvenient Weather: Scattered showers and storms today with heavy rain likely tonight.
Planning Your Day: Today won’t be a complete washout but keep the umbrella and rain gear handy as we’ll see the chance for showers and storms throughout the day.
