Suspect Sought In COTA Bus Purse Snatching; Reward Offered

Crime Stoppers is asking for information about a June robbery on a COTA bus.

On June 3, a female passenger had her purse snatched when the bus stopped at the intersection of Courtright and Refugee roads on the eastside.

The suspect jumped off the bus and fled northbound on Courtright Road and into the Courtyards of Kimberly Apartments.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male around 5 feet 10 inches tall and around 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and black athletic shoes with yellow soles.

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect's arrest and indictment.
