A storm system working across the nation’s midsection will bring some wet weather our way this weekend. Today won’t be a complete washout but expect the chance for scattered showers and storms throughout the day into tonight. We’ll continue to see warm and muggy conditions this weekend with highs in the low to mid 80s both today and tomorrow.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible Sunday morning and afternoon before a heavier band of rain heads our way late in the day. The heavier rain will be ahead of a slow-moving cold front. Due to how slow the front is moving, we could pick up rainfall amounts between 1-2 inches Sunday evening into Monday morning. Much cooler air will return to central Ohio behind the front Monday. We’ll see the chance for lingering showers to start the work week along with highs in the low 60s. Dry weather will return by the middle of the week.
Inconvenient Weather: Scattered showers and storms throughout the weekend.
Planning Your Day: Today won’t be a complete washout but keep the umbrella and rain gear handy as we’ll see the chance for showers and storms throughout the day.
