Three people are being accused of burglarizing a home and then striking a police cruiser as they fled the scene.
Brian Grubb, 32, appeared in court on Thursday.
Police say Grubb forced his way through the front door of a home on Kenway Court in northwest Columbus last Friday afternoon.
Grubb allegedly called two other individuals, Kristina Gibson and Selena Beam, to the home. The three allegedly ransacked the home and loaded items in a vehicle in the garage.
Officers arrived on scene, and the three tried to flee.
Police say Gibson was driving a vehicle that struck an officer's cruiser.
The three were caught after they abandoned their vehicle a short distance away.
A judge set Grubb's bond at $175,000.
The other codefendants did not appear in court on Thursday.
