Police are investigating two central Ohio bank robberies that took place on Monday.
The first robbery occurred at the Huntington National Bank, located at 2141 E. Dublin Granville Road, shortly before noon.
Officials said that a man, about 30 or 31, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 200 pounds, entered the bank wearing a gray baseball hat, a white t-shirt with the word “Joe” on the left breast and on the bank and blue jeans.
He also had dark hair and a goatee.
The man passed the teller a note and demanded money. He then fled to a vehicle driven by a white woman with red hair in a ponytail.
The second robbery occurred at about 12:30 p.m. at the PNC Bank, located at 763 Neil Avenue.
A Hispanic male passed a threatening note to the teller and demanded money, and he fled the bank.
The man was described as in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and 130 to 140 pounds.
He was wearing a blue/green ball cap, a long sleeve button up purple dress shirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
