A woman is charged with compelling prostitution and human trafficking for allegedly setting up meetings for sex
According to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant on Friday at a home on Rocky Point Road.
Detectives, working with caseworkers from Athens County Children Services, received information that a 16-year-old girl was being
used as a prostitute in exchange for money and drugs.
On Friday, Ellen Mayes of Glouster was interviewed by detectives and admitted to setting up meetings between 69-year-old Fred
Kittle Sr. and the young girl for sex.
She told authorities that she received drugs in exchange for the teenager performing sex acts with Kittle.
Kittle was charged with compelling prostitution and importuning.
The investigation is ongoing.
