UPDATED: Friday September 27, 2013 11:49 AM

A young woman notified her mother and police that a neighbor was inside her mother’s home.

According to police, Bryant E. Kibby is charged with burglary for breaking into his neighbor’s home.

The 63-year-old woman had walked outside of her home to water her flowers, and Kibby allegedly entered through an unlocked door, court documents stated.

Because the woman’s 18th Street home had been broken into a number of times, the woman’s daughter had set up live remote
surveillance.

The daughter noticed Kibby inside the home and immediately called 911 and notified her mother.

Police came to the scene and apprehended Kibby as he was fleeing the house.

Police said that Kibby admitted to breaking into the woman’s home and said he did it to fuel his crack habit. He denied the previous break-ins.
