Columbus Police said they arrested one person after an early morning burglary in northeast Columbus.
The burglary happened around 3:00 a.m. in the 2400 block of East Granville Road.
Officers said the suspects used a saw to cut a hole in the back of National Check Cashers and crawled inside the building.
The suspects then triggered an alarm in the building, which alerted police.
Police said the suspects tried to disable the alarm, but were unsuccessful.
When police arrived, they set up a perimeter around the business and were checking drainage systems to try and find the suspects.
Police said they eventually chased one of the suspects to State Route 161 and found another near a Hometown Inn and Suites hotel.
Officers arrested one of the men and were questioning the other.
It was unclear what the suspects got away with, but police said they did find a backpack in a nearby ravine.
