Police say they had to track down a man who fled a traffic stop with a child.
New Albany police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle along Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road on Tuesday afternoon at about 4 p.m.
Two male adults were in the vehicle with a child.
One adult was arrested on outstanding warrants.
The other adult, who claimed to be the father of the young child, took the child and ran.
After a search, he was found hiding and was taken into custody.
The child was unharmed.
Police said drugs and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.
Charges against the men are pending.
