Cool, Canadian high pressure will continue to control the weather across the Ohio Valley tonight through early next week. Temperatures on this first official night of fall will drop into the lower to middle 40’s under mostly clear skies. After a cool start Monday, comfortable temperatures are expected during the afternoon with sunny skies as highs reach into the upper 60’s to near 70 degrees.
Dry and comfortable fall weather will stick around through most of next week. Temperatures will slowly rise into the middle and upper 70’s toward the end of the week. A storm system tracking south of Ohio midweek may bring more clouds and a slight chance for showers in southern Ohio on Wednesday. Otherwise dry weather is expected until another cold front moves into the state late next weekend.
