Two people were injured in a double shooting in East Columbus Saturday night.
Columbus Police said the shooting occurred in the 700 block of South Champion Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
Officers say a fight broke out inside a home during a house party.
Police say 22-year-old Jovan Gayles told everyone to leave as two groups of males began yelling their respective gang affiliations.
Officers say 19-year-old Thomas Woodruff was outside with a gun and fired shots into the crowd, totaling more than 50 people.
Police say Gayles was shot in the leg and a 13-year-old girl was shot in the back.
Gayles was taken to Grant Medical Center and is expected to recover.
The teen was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital and was listed in serious condition.
Police arrested Woodruff and charged him with two counts of felonious assault.
