The city of Groveport is now banning its residents from holding yard sales on certain days.
The new restrictions take effect Oct. 9, but only apply to days when there are other city events happening.
City leaders said that the next event scheduled is Apple Butter Day on Oct. 12.
Vendors at previous city events had complained that residents holding yard sales took away business, without being required to pay for permits.
