A man is charged with possession of heroin after Franklin County Sheriff's detectives served search warrants at his home and storage unit.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies served a search warrant at the home of Scott Salyer as well as at his west side storage unit and uncovered three guns, $31,000 in cash, jewelry, prescription pills, a marijuana plant, 7
grams of marijuana and 16 grams of heroin.
The warrants were served at about 5 p.m. Sept. 12 after an investigation into heroin trafficking was launched.
Salyer, 24, was arrested and charged and taken to the Franklin County jail.
Future charges, including heroin trafficking, having weapons under disability and gun specifications while trafficking heroin, could be filed, according to the sheriff's office.
