A Northridge High School student has been arrested in connection with a threat.
According to a release from the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, a student who attends Northridge High School used social media to threaten to shoot several students at the school.
The threat was not specific, but it did indicate that the student was going to shoot others at the school.
On Thursday, detectives went to Northridge High School and arrested the student, who is a juvenile.
Officials said the student admitted to making the threat via social media after being questioned.
The student was taken to the Licking County Juvenile Detention Facility.
The charges against the student were not immediately known.
