Man Arrested For Allegedly Selling Counterfeit USA-Mexico Tickets

A man is charged with forgery after allegedly selling fake soccer tickets to a man on Craigslist.

Columbus police said they arrested Anthony M. Dunston, 43, on four counts of felony forgery and four counts of possession of criminal tools.

According to police, Dunston arranged a meeting via Craigslist with a 38-year-old man to sell him USA vs. Mexico soccer tickets.

After purchasing the tickets, they were compared to Ticketmaster tickets and were verified as counterfeit.

A warrant for Dunston's arrest was filed, and officers on patrol spotted Dunston at North High Street and West First Avenue and arrested him on Tuesday.
