The Columbus City Attorney says five warrants have been issued for a woman he called a "One-Woman Crime Wave."
Samantha Brown, 36, was released from jail earlier this year.
City Attorney Richard Pfeiffer Jr. says Brown now faces charges for violating probation and theft.
In the latest case, Brown is accused of taking a pond pump, metal arbor and a bamboo fountain out of a Lowe's store. She tried to return the items moments later to obtain cash.
"From shower curtains and People magazines to broccoli and buffalo wings, Ms. Brown steals items the same way the rest of us go grocery shopping," said Assistant City Prosecutor Bill R. Hedrick. "It has become an annual tradition with her: we put her in jail, she does her time, gets out, steals again and we repeat the process."
In the past, Brown has even hidden items in her infant's child seat to get them out of the store.
Brown's last known address was on South Burgess Avenue. She is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
Anyone with information about Samantha Brown is asked to contact the City Attorney's Office at 614-645-8874.
