Church Leaders Plead To Disorderly Conduct Charges For Parking Lot Incident

UPDATED: Wednesday September 4, 2013 1:52 PM

A father and son church leader have pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges after being accused of an assault in the church parking lot.

Pastor Bennett Smith and his son Paul Smith oversee The Church at Polaris.

On Tuesday, the two entered guilty pleas to disorderly conduct charges. They were fined $50 plus court costs.

In April, a man accused the two of assaulting him.

The Smith's were apparently trying to stop drivers from cutting through their parking lot when the confrontation became physical.
