Marion fire crews say they responded to two suspicious fires in under 24 hours.
The Marion Star reported that the first fire broke out Thursday morning along Clinton Street.
While that fire is suspicious, there’s no ongoing investigation.
The second fire broke out along Mary Street Thursday afternoon.
Neighbors say a family was planning to move out of the home the day of the fire. They lost nearly everything, the paper reported.
Fire officials say the flames started in a living room.
They are still working to gather more information.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call authorities.
