Columbus Police say no officers were injured in a shooting on S. 17th Street. Get the story.
The U.S. Marshals Service announced on Friday that two women wanted out of Pittsburgh were arrested at an east Columbus home Thursday night.
According to the Marshals, Clarissa Clark and Summer Kerley were wanted on charges of criminal solicitation of homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide and terroristic threats. Kerley also was charged with aggravated assault.
The charges stemmed from a March incident in which Clark and Kerley were passengers on a "party bus" in southern PittsburgH.
Marshals said that the two women got into a verbal fight with other passengers.
Clark is accused of calling two men to assault others in the fight.
Clark ordered the bus to pull over, and the two men, who Clark called, identified as 21-year-old James Lawrence and 22-year-old Michael Lyons, pulled up and started firing at the victim, according to the Marshals Service.
Steven Lee, 21, of McKees Rocks, Pa., was killed in the shooting.
After receiving a tip, Columbus based Marshals and the Task Force from the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested the two women at a home in Columbus.
They are awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
