Quiet weather will stick around for the evening hours under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures tonight will drop back into the lower 60’s. Clouds will increase on Sunday as a weak storm system moves across the Tennessee Valley. Temperatures will reach into the lower 80’s by Sunday afternoon. Scattered showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will be possible by Sunday afternoon into the evening. A few showers or thunderstorms will also be possible on Monday.
A warming trend will continue into next week with highs in the middle 80’s Monday, climbing into the upper 80’s to near 90 degrees by midweek. Mostly dry weather is expected Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance for showers and storms returning on Thursday.
