A Columbus man is facing a felonious assault charge for allegedly throwing boiling water on his wife.
James D. Collins, 43, was arrested early Friday morning.
The investigation started when police found Collins' wife crying along the road on North Hague Avenue.
Tonya Collins told police that James had thrown a large pot of boiling water on her during an argument on August 8.
Tonya is now hospitalized with second and third degree burns.
