Red Cross Helping South Columbus Family After Fire

UPDATED: Monday August 5, 2013 7:09 AM

Fire investigators say a fire was intentionally set at a south Columbus townhouse.

The fire happened just before midnight Sunday in the 100-block of Buckeye Circle.

Firefighters said it took four fire departments to put out the flames.

An investigator says they believe a child may have started the blaze, but it remains under investigation.

The family inside escaped unharmed, but needed help from the Red Cross for a place to stay.

A second story bedroom was a complete loss, but no injuries were reported.
