A man faces burglary and sexual battery charges after allegedly breaking into a woman's apartment and performing a sex act on her.
Ricky A. Psimer allegedly broke into the woman's apartment on Alum Creek Drive around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday through an unlocked window.
Psimer allegedly performed a sex act on the female resident, who was sleeping next to her husband.
The woman spoke to 10TV on Friday. She agreed to share the disturbing details of the attack because she says she is determined to send Psimer to prison, so he can't hurt anyone else.
"And the look on his face, I'll never forget the look on his face, cause the look on his face, when I woke up, and he looked at me, the look on his face was emotionless," said the alleged victim.
The woman says that is why she believes the man who attacked her has done it before.
"I don't think it's possible that that was his first time because he was just too calm," she explained.
The woman said Psimer lives nearby.
And she said that it was a stroke of luck her husband was in bed next to her.
"Where he works there's a lot of big machinery, there was trouble with some machinery so he stayed home that night," she explained.
The woman says she yelled for help and her husband chased Psimer out of their home. She says the defendant ran to his own apartment where she says he tried to fool sheriff's investigators.
"He had changed into a pair of boxer shorts and was sitting on his front porch smoking a cigarette and acted like 'I've been here all night'" the woman said.
But the woman says she was able to describe the clothes Psimer had been wearing, and she says deputies found those clothes inside the suspect's apartment.
"He needs to be put away, and if I don't do it, then who's the next victim?" she told 10TV.
Prosecutors will now present all of the evidence in the case to a grand jury to decide whether to file formal charges, including rape.
