One of two teenage murder suspects was transported from Dayton to Columbus on Monday.
Eighteen-year-old Nathaniel Brunner and 17-year-old Devonere Simmonds were arrested Saturday.
The teens are charged in the shooting death of a convenience store clerk on East Livingston Avenue on Wednesday, July 24.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Imran Ashgar.
Police believe Simmonds is also suspected in a July 22 murder of a 22-year-old man and the July 25 murder of a 17-year-old boy, identified as Lamont Frazier.
Frazier was found dead on the sidewalk near Oakwood Avenue and Forest Street in east Columbus on Thursday.
Both teens are also suspected in a shooting and carjacking at a Madison County TA Travel Center early Saturday morning.
William Rudd was shot in the head on Saturday while pumping gas. Police said the two suspects wanted to steal his car. Rudd was travelling from Iowa back home to Virginia when he was attacked.
Rudd currently is at Grant Medical Center in serious condition.
The teens were found sleeping in the stolen car behind a home in Dayton on Saturday.
Columbus police are looking for at least two more people involved in the convenience store shooting.
Brunner and Simmonds apparently had contact with law enforcement before the shooting at the gas station.
A spokesperson for the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Sgt. Jeffrey Shane picked up Simmonds and Brunner along the highway on Saturday.
He gave the two a ride to the gas station, where the shooting occurred.
Authorities said that he was required to do a background check and check the suspects for weapons, but the OHP said Shane did not do either.
He's currently on administrative leave during the investigation.
