A couple was arrested in southeast Ohio with $220 worth of steak in their possession, according the Athens County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Pat Kelly said that Zachariah Dye, 36, and Nancy Anderson, 32, were arrested in Chauncey on Sunday.
According to the sheriff, the two ran when they spotted a police cruiser.
They were found hiding behind a house. They had $220 worth of meat that was allegedly taken from the Athens Kroger store.
Kelly said that Dye is wanted on theft charges in Hocking and Fairfield counties. He is currently out on parole.
Anderson is wanted for theft in Hocking County and in the city of Wellston.
Both individuals were being held at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail pending charges.
