Officials are investigating after two Licking County banks received phone calls threatening bombs on Friday afternoon.
The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said that the Heartland Bank, located at 12 N. Main St. in Croton, received a bomb threat by phone.
The bank was open at the time of the threat. The area was roped off.
The Heartland Bank in Johnstown, located at 730 W. Coshocton St., also received a similar threat by phone.
No injuries were reported.
