Clark County authorities say a man killed himself after they used a Taser on him during a domestic call.
Sheriff Gene Kelly said the situation started with a domestic call around 4:30 a.m. on the 3000 block of Authur Road.
The situation involved a woman and a man with a gun.
According to Kelly, deputies used a Taser on the man after he came out of the home with the gun.
"The Taser was deployed. He fell back. After the deployment, he raised back up, and then took the handgun, and put it to his head and took his own life," said Kelly.
The sheriff identified the man as 35-year-old Chad Haulman.
The woman was unharmed.
The sheriff said a news conference is scheduled later on Wednesday.
