Two Lancaster city school buildings are getting security upgrades this summer.
The entrances of Lancaster High School and General Sherman Junior High will be reconfigured so visitors must pass through the office to enter the building.
The goal is to be able to monitor exactly everyone who enters and leaves the schools.
The Lancaster Eagle Gazette reported that the work is expected to begin in the coming weeks and be finished by early fall.
