Man, Woman Arrested In Connection With String Of Fairfield County Burglaries

Two people are charged with burglary and other charges in connection with a slew of burglaries in the Lancaster area.

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office said that a deputy stopped a vehicle thought to be involved in the burglaries.

The two people inside the vehicle, identified as Lisa Smith, 41, of Logan, and Clint A. Tolliver, 31, of Lancaster, were arrested in connection with the burglaries.

After the traffic stop, authorities served a search warrant and found numerous stolen items.

Smith is charged with OVI, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and one count of burglary with a gun specification. She also is charged with two counts of theft of firearms.

Tolliver was arrested on two outstanding warrants, one from Hocking County for a parole violation and one from Lancaster for burglary.

He also was charged with one count of burglary with a gun specification and two counts of theft of a firearm.
