The Franklin County dog shelter is cutting adoption prices after an influx of dogs following Red, White and Boom!
The shelter said it took in 174 strays after the fireworks, compared to the average of 23 strays per day.
Dozens of dogs have not been reunited with their owners so the shelter is reducing adoption prices.
The shelter is taking off $1 for each day the dog has been at the shelter.
