Troopers Seize More Than $130,000 In Marijuana During Traffic Stop

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers out of Ashland County reported a major drug bust on Wednesday.

Troopers stopped a rented Ford Taurus on Interstate 71 for a taillight violation.

After further probable-cause investigation and assistance from a K9 unit, troopers found 30 pounds of marijuana, worth $137,000 on the streets, inside the vehicle.

The driver was arrested on several felony drug charges.
