Police are searching for two people in connection with multiple house thefts in Ross County.
According to a press release, Ross County Sheriff George Lavender said his office has received several reports of a man and a woman soliciting home repair work, and then stealing from the homes.
Lavender said the couple knocks on people’s doors and offers home repair work. While one person talks to the home owner, the other person enters the house and steals items.
The couple is reported to be driving an older model four-door sedan that could be blue, gray, or light brown in color.
Lavender said the man is described as six-feet tall with a thin build, short brown hair, and appears to be 30-40 years old.
The woman is described as having a tall, thin build, dirty blonde or light brown shoulder-length hair, in her late 20s to early 30s, and she may possibly be pregnant.
