Better Business Bureau Warns Internet Users About ‘Click-Jacking’

UPDATED: Monday July 8, 2013 5:45 PM

The Better Business Bureau is warning Internet users about a scam called click-jacking that is making its way to safe websites.

By making you think that you’re clicking on a safe link on a well-known website, scammers are able to gain access to something private.

The links typically come in an email and offer the consumer a prize entry.

After clicking on the link to enter, you are really doing something else. The hidden link can change your computer’s settings and even buy something from a website.

No matter what, if something looks too good to be true, then that is probably the case.
