Two Teens Accused Of Dragging Another Teen With A Car Over A Pair Of Shoes

Two teenagers have turn themselves into police after allegedly dragging another teen with a car over a pair of shoes.

Mike Lilly of Newark said he used the social media site Instagram to advertise that he had some rare Nike shoes to sell.

He said a person answered the ad and the two agreed on a price of $480 for two pairs of sneakers.

Lilly said they agreed to meet at a parking lot near Dick's Sporting goods at Easton on Monday.

When he approached the car of the potential buyer, Lilly said he showed them one of the shoes.

He said that's when one of them snatched his shoes without paying.

“When I grabbed to open the door they took off,” he said.

Mike said he grabbed the handle and was dragged about 50 feet.

His injuries include severe road rash on his back, legs and foot.  He also said his foot may be broken.

Police said the two suspects turned themselves in on Friday.  No charges have been filed.
