A family reunion almost turned tragic when a 6-year-old girl was found at the bottom of a pool Saturday afternoon at the Ramada Inn on Sinclair Road.
According to those who knew the girl, they say her grandmother was watching her and thought she had left the pool area.
That’s when a boy saw the girl at the bottom of the pool drifting towards the 6 feet deep area.
An adult tells 10TV that he saw the boy push the girl to the surface.
That’s when he says he pulled the girl out of the water and gave her CPR.
The girl was taken to the hospital.
She was in serious condition Sunday morning.
None of the people who helped the girl wanted to be identified.
The Ramada Inn closed the pool.
