Ohio Mayor Investigated For Pulling Over Driver

UPDATED: Saturday July 6, 2013 7:30 AM

The conduct of an Ohio mayor is under review after he stopped a driver he said ran two stop signs.

The Repository in Canton reports that city officials are reviewing whether the actions of Mayor William Healy II were appropriate.

Among the officials' concerns is the mayor's use of an emergency light in a city-owned, unmarked vehicle to stop the driver.

The driver said he did not ignore the stop signs and thought a police officer was stopping him.
