Police arrested a Delaware County man accused of raping a child.
Shawnee Hills police said the alleged incident occurred in late June.
Arturo Olivar-Gonzalez was arrested a week later and was charged in connection with allegedly raping a child less than 12 years old.
Police said that on June 22, Olivar-Gonzalez and his family held a party at their Shawnee Hills home for their daughter.
They say the party was held outside, and later that evening, some of the children slept over.
Investigators say that is when the rape took place.
When 10TV stopped by the Shawnee Hills home where the rape is alleged to have happened, a woman who identified herself as Olivar-Gonzalez's mother-in-law told 10TV the accusations are "a big lie"
At the arraignment, Olivar-Gonzalez's attorney argued for a low bond citing the fact that her client has lived in Powell, with his wife, their children and his wife's parents for more than seven years.
But prosecutors argued a low bond was wouldn't be appropriate.
A Delaware County judge set bond at $200,000.
Investigators say no other accusations have been made, but they are looking into other children who may have been at that sleepover.
A Delaware County grand jury is currently reviewing this case.
