Hocking County Sheriff's deputies say they found bags of methamphetamine in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

Jeremy D. Brown, 36, is being held following a traffic stop on Laurel Run Road on Monday.

Investigators said Brown admitted to having a bag of meth, also known on the street as "ice."

A K9 unit also discovered other baggies containing what is believed to be meth.

Brown is charged with drug possession and permitting drug abuse. He is being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. The alleged evidence has been sent to a crime lab for testing.

Another occupant in the car was arrested on outstanding warrants from Fairfield County.
